EXODUS
The word "exodus" was adopted into English from the Greek "exodos" which literally means "the road out." Generally, it means a mass departure of people.
It is the second book of the Bible and not only tells the history of Yahweh delivering the nation of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, but is where Yahweh again gave His laws, statutes and decrees to His people, Israel. We saw in Genesis (and will see in Exodus) where people were aware of Yahweh's instructions long before the two tablets were written on Mount Sinai in Exodus 20.
We will be using the New American Standard version of Scriptures for this Book.
